    Hi there!
Any tips on how to keep bamboo flooring clean?! They told us to spot clean with a cloth but I have 3 kids and the floors get filthy and need a good clean!
    Thanks in advance! ????

My fella is the floor – in – good – order organiser. I bought him a very flash industrial mop and squeeze bucket thing for xmas on year – not romantic, but he’s still using it.

You should be very careful with what you use on wooden floors. I made the mistake of using a mop and bucket and too much water. Now the wooden floors are “cupping” – a term used by the professionals!! The swollen wood planks cup in shape causing the joins to scratch easily and it looks awful. Solution (excuse the pun) was to have the floor boards re sanded and re sealed. The recommendation from the professionals was to use ENJO Floor Cleaner and their microfibre dust fibre dry (instead of sweeping and vacuuming) then the right mopping fibre for you floor finish – consultants come over to check free of charge – and ONLY used damp, adding more water from a spray bottle as I go around the house and it starts to feel not wet enough. The result has been 10 years of cleaning and the floor still look great. I have replaced the fibres once in 10 year – you do the maths!! ENJO is available world wide it’s called Zabada in USA – Sorry for the long comment but I wanted to share – I’m so impressed.

My timber floor installer recommended Versadet from bunnings. Works out much cheaper than supermarket cleaners

‘I have timber floors all through my home. The only place I have carpet is in the bedrooms and I have tiles in the wet areas.’ So in other words, you have timber floors in your living areas and hallways?

Any advice for bamboo? I have had a cleaner use something that has left some sort of coating on my floor. Now you can see footprints on the floor and it drives me absolutely crazy!
