Bedside table: what’s your style?

What's your bedside table style? Currently I have white tables with glass knobs, but I think I could do with a change as I've had them for years and years and years! I love the bone inlay pattern but am not sure because I'd probably get sick of them?? I love the mirrored ones too …

What’s your bedside table style?

Currently I have white tables with glass knobs, but I think I could do with a change as I’ve had them for years and years and years! I love the bone inlay pattern but am not sure because I’d probably get sick of them?? I love the mirrored ones too but they would be so hard to keep clean!

I need a drawer in my bedside table because I keep tablets, face cream and a book in there.

What’s in your bedroom? And what’s a must-have for you?

Tough decisions!! I use to have the typical bed shop quality timber bedside tables, but since being inspired by your bubblegum table makeover, I recently sold my entire suite. I bought from Salvos an old retro bedside, and it’s now a beautiful french blue….
Hubby isn’t a fan (as he loves contemporary), but I figure, ifI get sick of it, then I can donate it back and go again and have a different look!!!!
I am forever moving, changing and buying stuff..drives hubby crazy!

My sister is also looking for new bedside tables – all these are great! I dont think Im a fan of matching ones probably because thats what I have – a whole bedroom set…so if I were to change mine now Id go for two different looks or at least different to my bedhead!

They all look lovely. I agree the mirrored ones might be a pain to keep clean but they certainly are pretty. The inlay one is very nice. that wold be my choice but I'd like amatching pair and I could;t see hubby agreeing to somehtign like that. We are in need of a total bed and table update at our place but hubby doesn't see the problem. Ours were 2nd hand when we bought them back in 86. 🙂 Yes '86! So are probably a 70's set. It's one of those bedhead and drawer fake wood laminate combination things. Surely they must be due to become fashionable again.

All four styles are lovely but I prefer keeping it simple as I love changing the ‘look’ of my bedroom frequently with different linen. My current bedsides are oversized wenge drawers. They work well but I’m considering mirror ones when we relocate into the new main bedroom. I keep telling myself cleaning them wont be an issue because…well, I’m haveing trouble convincing myself! Bedsides seems so expensive too for their size! I’m going to buy my son a replica Comboli unit for his room. Plastic / indistructable / easy clean! x KL

I really want a mirrored bedside table for our bedroom, but never considered the cleaning aspect. I think I’ll overcome that by having a tray on top for my belongings.

I love the mirrored look, they are so timeless and classic!
I have mirrored bedsides and to be honest, they do not show up that much! I have a 3 year old and expected to be cleaning them daily, but they don't require that much work!
