The cameras followed me to school, while I did the groceries and I had a morning tea at the CWA. Then they set up all their gear with shades, seats and camera’s at Collins Park to interview me. Some funny looks there!
The CWA ladies were so nice and welcoming. They thought it was great Amie and liked to refer to them on the show:

Good day today!
Now I get ready to make a tv commercial for Chambers-Whyte Design and Print.

It must be nice to be home, even if it sounds like a less than normal day. I shouldn't asssume, maybe camera crews followed you around even before The Block? 😉

Wanted to let you know that I have begun watching tv via the internet for the first time ever. Never cared if I missed an episode of a show before. But if I miss seeing what you and Amie have been up to I can't resist checking out the old episodes on line.

Loving the way you are so 'real', genuine and good sports!

I'm really looking forward to seeing it. We (kids and I) are really enjoying the block – actually watching it now while I catch up on my blogging addiction.

There has been no mention on what you (and yes it will be you two!) will win. Is it a percentage of the win? Also no mention of the estate agent.

Your back on so better go.

Oh yay, sounds like fun & weird all at the same time. I like your CWA references too, & tonight, your dog's house was cute but hard to beat that 'house replica' the winning team created. Those puppies were ADORABLE, i know our German Shepherd would love a disco ball. Love Posie

Just one question. How do your furnish the Block when you have no money in the kitty? Do you dip into your own?? Surely not. Or did the producers slip you some.

Hi Katrina, It must have been interesting for the boys being filmed, you and Amie got somewhat used to it during the filming of the block. Great News that you got to spend more time with Shelley. Loved your princess Dog house- how cute were those puppies!

I adore that artwork you bought! It is absolutely stunning and I hope those critical judges think so too.

I bet the camera crew got a few giggles with the antics of the Chambers household. I would have loved to be a fly on the wall when it went off for editing.

I love the artwork too, I'm thinking the "male" judges won't get it!!! Anyways, we love it gals!

Fingers crossed your house kicks ass at the auction, I truly truly truly want you girls to win, I know i"m not alone, so many people feel for you two.

I can't believe the male host (scott Cam???) comes in and says – "what have you girls been doing all day"? Like, oh, well, first we went to the Katies sale, bought some pants we don't need, then we went for a BBQ at the local pub to celebrate the new roast of the day – I MEAN< WHAT DOES HE THINK YOU DO ALL DAY, and really, as a builder, he should know, it's constant. You don't have to be holding a hammer to be "working" on a building site. Anyways, you handled it well.

    GOOD LUCK for Sun Nite!

All I can say is VERY BRAVE for having a camera crew there first thing in the morning whilst trying to get kids ready for school! I recently blogged about this "joyous" morning period lol and I can't imagine how much worse it would be with a camera crew there lol
