Hi there! I couldn’t go past this double fronted freestanding Victorian residence which popped up on the real estate pages this week. It’s currently for sale and is located in Albert Park, Melbourne, VIC.

It’s so cute from the front, but then opens up to a huge monster at the back. It’s a fantastic renovation and the owners have done a great job.

Classic wall paneling and French Oak chevron parquetry add European elegance to the wide arched hallway leading to a glorious sitting room with open fireplace and window seat. Polished concrete floors and ultra high ceilings create a more contemporary tone through the expansive living and dining room with open fireplace and a state of the art fully integrated Miele kitchen boasting DEKTON benches, marble splash-back, and butler’s pantry. – Agent.

It also helps to sell a house when the styling is just perfect. Certainly makes me stop and take note of the listing!

Have a fab day. ♥ KC.

I started to browse and was ready to rant about how I hate a modern box at the back of heritage houses. But I was wrong! This is how old and new should be done. Still not my taste but this house is totally fab. And the styling is spot on!

This is stunning! I love how you can’t see the modern extension from the front of the house.
Does anyone know where that blue artwork in the kitchen might be from?
