Hiya! How’s the week travelling for you? I’ve been a little lamp crazy in my house lately… I’ve been buying fabric and covering the shades and trying to work them in to my side tables. Have you seen my Instagram? You can see one I did over there. I just never seem to be able to find the right base and the right shade, or if I do, they are $300! Anyway, so I jumped over to Pinterest and on to some of my favourite sites to find you these pretties below… Take a look!

What do you think? Do you have a spot where you can incorporate a lamp?

Can you cover a shade yourself? It’s really easy to do! Or what about turning a vase in to a base like I did in this tutorial?

I have a gorgeous lamp on my side table with a candle stick and phone. Ugh. It's so uninspiring. I need to buy more trinkets and things, move the phone maybe. The lamp cost a bomb so should be 'displayed' better….

Katrina – I adore this post! We recently made a lamp out of a vintage birdcage. Here it is – http://billiemakesahome.info/?p=101
I’d love to know what you think about it.
I have really enjoyed reading your blog and will be visiting again and again.
