How to make an essential oil roller blend for relaxation and rest

I would say the most common question people want to know about essential oils is “which oils can I use for rest/stress?” And while you can just buy some awesome single oils, or blends already made (like Lavender Peace, or Clary Calm, or Frankincense) I think half the fun of these oils is combining them up to make a serious potion! Well I love it anyway. I get out all my little bottles, google a few oil recipes, put the little stickers on and give the oils as gifts to my friends and family. Yesterday I wanted to give my Mum and sister a relaxing blend mostly to use at the end of the day. I made the ultimate roller blend for relaxation…

Roller Blend for stress/relaxation/rest

  • 4 drops Lavender Peace
  • 4 drops Frankincense
  • 4 drops Bergamot
  • 4 drops Cedarwood
  • 10ml roller bottle
  • Fill with Fractionated Coconut Oil

This is a topical blend, so can be rubbed anywhere on your body really. For night-time I rub it across my upper lip (like a mo!), put behind my ears and down my neck. My husband loves it and asks for his oil before sleep now haha.

If you don’t like the smell of Lavender (I have found a lot of people say they hate it), just leave it out. There are tonnes of recipes via Pinterest if you want to make something else.

Where do I get the spare bottles?

eBay! There are hundreds of kinds. Just find an Australian seller (because postage will most likely be free) and you can buy all volumes of roller bottles. Another great site is here. Make sure you get a funnel or dropper with the bottles to make it easier.

The next question I get asked is where can I buy the cap stickers?

They are available in the doTERRA shop for $1.

New to doTERRA?

I wrote a blog post on WHY I decided to jump on the bandwagon.

Also, here’s a post on HOW you buy essential oils.
