I am very happy with it now. I think that maybe it needs new cushions and a rug?

But my biggest project is this room above. My office! Yep, we have stripped it bare. I know, it’s only a new house, but I have decided it really needed a major facelift. I have never owned any actual proper office furniture, so I have splashed out and bought new things for in here. A big desk from Freedom Furniture is on it’s way but I doubt it will be here before Xmas. That’s ok, I will be patient. I have also ordered wallpaper samples and am waiting for those to arrive before I decide. I think I will wallpaper 1 wall and paint the rest. It’s a huge room and it needs a lot of texture and some bigger pieces of furniture. I am also searching for a perfect wingback chair and floor lamp.

I haven’t been that well lately, so the projects have been slow around here, but hopefully a rest at Xmas will bring my mojo back! Yeeeehaaaa.

    Revamping already?!?!?!
The new furniture sounds nice. Try Matt Blatt for a reproduction wing back chair.

Oh I love all the red. It's so bold and vibrant. Clock perfect. Wall thingys perfect. Love the white frames on the wall. I am so not brave enough to do a cluster somewhere in my place. My pictures are still all sitting on the floor propped up on cloth nappies…so I understand the office being a work in progress. Good things take time and planning and scheming and shopping! A-M xx

katrina..Its looking pretty darn good 🙂 Youve got the knack!
Yes..I agree with you..a rug and some new cushions will top it off nicely..actually the cushions you have a great..perhaps just add another that holds a different kind of texture to it..something printed..shiny or beaded? In black or beige?
Am I sounding too bossy?..lol..sorry : /..must be all the info overload from my assignments..I cant wait to get stuck into it. I think this space will be one of your favourites in the house…good skills 🙂 xx
